Art: Visual CommunicationNEWMINI-COURSE

Grades 7-12
This one-week intensive course takes place in an encouraging and engaging art studio atmosphere. The class will explore how images have been used to express ideas throughout history and how images have become an essential way of communicating concepts in contemporary society. Inspired by advertising, architecture, and illustration, students will create individual and collaborative pieces using a variety of materials. (Also listed in Middle School.)

Art: Visual Storytelling NEWMINI-COURSE

Grades 7-12
This one-week intensive course takes place in an encouraging and engaging art studio atmosphere. The class will explore how images have been used to share characters and narratives throughout history and how images are a part of storytelling in the modern age. Inspired by literature, cinema, and illustration, students will create individual and collaborative pieces using a variety of materials. (Also listed in Middle School.)

Studies in Drawing NEWMINI-COURSE

Grades 9-12
In this course, students will learn the fundamentals of drawing and enhance their skills by focusing on still life, figure drawing, and abstract drawing. Through daily activities and projects, students will be able to walk away with completed works and a new way of thinking about art in the world.
