Latin I

Grades 6–8
An introduction to the elements of Latin grammar, all cases of nouns are learned as are all tenses, active and passive, of the verb in the indicative mood. Learning basic forms and vocabulary through drills and written exercises is stressed, with additional attention to Latin derivatives in English and aspects of Roman culture. Latin II

This course is a continuation of Latin I with a rapid survey of basic forms and syntax followed by completion of the elements of grammar—participles, uses of the infinitive and the subjunctive mood. Intensive Spanish for Beginners MINI-COURSE

Grades 6–8
This intensive, two-week course is for students who are taking Spanish for the first time or who need a quick review of first-year Spanish. This course will introduce basic vocabulary and many grammatical structures, such noun and adjective agreement and verb conjugations. We will concentrate on developing all four skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. This class is ideal for students transitioning into their first-ever Spanish class.
