Soccer Camp

Coach Brian Schultz and members of the STA soccer coaching staff and team will run this camp that is open to all skill levels. The week will consist of key elements of the game: Dribbling, passing, finishing, defending, ball mastery, and specialized goalkeeper training. In addition, campers will develop tactical awareness in small-sided and full-sided activities. Campers will work on improving basic soccer skills along with their fitness and agility in order to develop as a complete player.

A single one-week session offered June 24 - 28:

Eligibility:
Boys and Girls, Grades 1-9 (ages 7-14 years old)

Facilities:
Campers should report to Zone B (the Herman Entry Plaza) on Pilgrim Road. Camp will be held on the Steuart Field.

Director
Brian Schultz is the head varsity soccer coach  and teaches Upper School English at St. Albans. Coach Schultz is entering his fourth season as the head coach, guiding his team to back-to-back outright IAC championships and a DCSAA championship in his first three seasons. He holds his USSF C License and several United Soccer Coaches’ certifications. During his time as a four-year starter and All-Centennial Conference honoree, Brian earned his B.A. and M.A. in English from Washington College. 
Located in Washington, D.C., St. Albans Summer Programs – a combined summer camp and summer school for area and out-of-town boys and girls in grades Pre-K through 12 – provides half- and full-day academic and art classes and athletic camps for football, golf, rowing, swimming, and tennis at state-of-the-art athletic facilities.
