Track & Field

Track and Field

Track and field is the premiere sport that provides the fundamental athletic skills necessary for all activity.  This camp will be highly beneficial to the multi-sport athlete seeking to increase strength, sharpen running and jumping skills, and improve overall fitness.  Campers will practice event-specific techniques for hurdling, long jump, high jump, sprinting, and middle distance running.  Our coaches will incorporate video analysis during drills for evaluation and feedback on movement patterns.  Campers will have the opportunity to focus on improving running economy specifically through:
  • Speed and proprioception development
  • Plyometrics
