This introductory French course is ideal for beginners, as well as those seeking a refresher. Emphasis is placed on building foundational grammar skills, expanding vocabulary, and developing confidence in speaking, reading, and writing.

Spanish I

Grades 8–12
An elementary course in Spanish for beginners and for those who wish to review first year Spanish, this course concentrates on grammar, verb drills, and vocabulary building, with oral work, reading, and writing. (Also listed for Middle School.)

Spanish II

Grades 9-12
A course for students who have finished Spanish I or who want to review second year Spanish, this course reviews the fundamentals of Spanish I, expands vocabulary, and increases facility through oral and written work. (Also listed for Upper School)

Spanish III

Grades 9-12
The goal of Spanish 3 is the study of grammar, vocabulary and cultures of Spanish speaking countries. Students improve listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. Students further develop reading comprehension skills through literature, oral presentations and written exercises. We will have different guests via zoom and different readings and documents related to the culture and tradition of different Latin American countries. Students will consolidate vocabulary and grammar through a final project.
