STA Hockey Receives Top Honors from MAPHL
Congratulations to Varsity Ice Hockey Coach Dan Ryan, who was recently awarded the Ervin J. Terwilliger Coach of the Year Award by the Mid Atlantic Prep Hockey League (MAPHL). Coach Ryan ended this season with a 10-1-1 record, leading his team to big victories over rivals Gonzaga and Georgetown Prep.
Goalie Ethan Roth ’17 was named Player of the Year and to the AA Division First Team by MAPHL. An integral part of the Bulldog defense, Roth had a save percentage of 0.943 this season. Teammates Jack Heaps ’16, Amir Sadikov ’16, and Noah Tilton ’17 join Roth in being named All-IAC this season. Congratulations!
